This amazing establishment is located in the Mumbles, a picturesque holiday spot on the south coast of Wales.
Perched on the top floor, this ‘glass’ restaurant offers an unobstructed view over Mumbles Bay through its vast windows and a wrap-around terrace.
La Parrilla is the work of local architect Thomas Parry and his firm, Thomas Parry Design Partnership.
The concept
La Parrilla wanted a stunning fireplace to match their equally stunning space, but with the absolute convenience of gas. This fire is turned simply on/off at the touch of a button, and the flame height controlled in the same way. Below you can see 3d renders we created to visualise the fireplace prior to installation. We provide this service as standard on all our installations.
The installation
Piece by piece, we brought this JC Bordelet EVA fireplace into life and ready for the restaraunt installation!
Designer fireplace installation
As you enter you see an orange fireplace, the Eva 992 colour central fireplace by JC Bordelet, sitting opposite the corner of the bar just in front of a discreet table in a curved booth.
Sitting here, in its brand new gas fire version, it is utterly in its element. The orange gloss finish perfectly matches this setting, where different colours and varieties of wood rub shoulders with the ubiquitous glass and metal.
