A bioethanol fireplace is an eco-friendly heating solution that uses bioethanol fuel, a renewable energy source derived from biological materials like corn, sugarcane, or wheat. It burns cleanly, emitting only carbon dioxide, and a minimal amount of water vapour, and doesn't require a chimney or flue.
Our Bioethanol fireplaces are very safe provided they are installed and used according to the manufacturers instructions.
They do not produce smoke, soot, or ash and need no chimney, but they should be operated in rooms with at least 1 air change per hour.

They are primarily designed to supplement the main heat source within the property, and to give wonderful ambiance as well as controllable warmth.
Our fireplaces are designed to give maximum realism and flame effect. Most models we offer would typically consume around 1litre per hour… although some models do have lower flame settings to extend the burn time

This really depends on the individual circumstances and usage pattern.
If used as wonderful back up to the main heat source they present great value when compared to other fuels, especially when you consider that as there is no flue, the appliance is 100% efficient, there is no heat loss through a flue system and you get all the energy into the room when in operation.
Added bonus is that there is no time and energy spent cleaning the fireplace or preparing fuel.
The initial outlay should be favourable, as there is no cost for a flue system nor expensive certified installation services.
Our bioethanol fireplaces have an in-built tank inside the body of the fireplace, where the fuel is heated until vapours are released, which are subsequently ignited by a glow plug. Small amounts of bioethanol are fed into a smaller tank below the flames, which means the entire fuel tank is never lit, only gradually added, automatically, by the fireplace as required. When you switch off the fireplace, the remainder of this fuel is burnt off safely, and the remaining fuel sits in the tank, ready for the next time you switch it on!
